Dura Composites has utilised its expertise in composite technology to produce a world first – a highly anti-slip Duct Cover solution for Marinas made from high-performance Glass Reinforced Polymer (also known as GRP or fibreglass). GRP is fast becoming the material of choice in demanding marine environments, thanks to its incredible strength, lightness, ease of installation and excellent resistance to corrosion.

Dura Duct Covers are lightweight and allow for easy access and maintenance to be carried out to the cabling and equipment which runs through the service ducts which are commonly provided on both sides of marina walkways and pontoons. Whilst duct covers have traditionally been made from anodised aluminium, these have a tendency to become very slippery when wet and are prone to theft, tarnishing and oxidisation – particularly in climates where extremes of temperature are common.

By contrast, GRP Dura Duct Covers have superior anti-slip properties are non conductive and have an excellent lifespan, making them cost-effective and environmentally sustainable.

Delivery

Standard lead time on orders from our Webshop is 3 – 5 working days (Mainland UK; stock dependent).

Large orders may be subject to palletised deliveries which are to the property kerbside only. Your order will need to be unloaded by hand (hand-balled) off the lorry side. A person must be present to help unload the goods and sign for receipt. Delivery drivers are not insured to help unload the goods beyond the property kerbside.

We offer free delivery for a selection of products to the majority of mainland UK. Unfortunately, Dura Composites is unable to offer free delivery to certain areas – including Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands & Offshore Islands, Isle Of Wight, Isle of Man, the Channel Islands and the Isles of Scilly.

Returns

If you wish to return or exchange your goods, please complete the form dispatched with your order and return within 14 days to the address below. Items must be unused and in perfect, resale condition and in their original packaging, and the Returns Form must be included. Once the goods have been received and inspected to check they meet the requirements outlined above you will receive a refund (credited back to the method you paid with) or a new shipping notification for your requested exchange within 7 working days of receipt.

The replacement item(s) will be shipped to you free of charge (once per customer). Please note we cannot exchange items of differing value. If you choose to return any items that were purchased as part of a promotion, and by returning part of your order your remaining total means you are no longer eligible for the original discount, the value of that discount will be deducted from any refunds due.

Please note the customer is responsible for the postage to return the item to us. We recommend using a Signed For recorded postal service as Dura Composites Ltd are not liable for any items that go missing en-route back to us. Thank you for your cooperation.
