If you’re choosing GRP d² Dura Profiles over steel, lighter components can be seamlessly integrated into almost all scenarios, making your projects more efficient and cost-effective. Moreover, being up to 50% lighter translates to an equivalent reduction in carbon footprint, making our profiles a sustainable choice for environmentally conscious projects.
If you’re opting for d² Dura Profiles versus other GRP profiles available in the market, our superior strength to weight ratio means smaller components, or less components, can be used to maximise efficiency without compromising on performance. In the case of our Wide Flange Beams (WFB) for example, the Dura Profile 152 WFB can be used instead of a competitors larger 203 WFB, achieving a 38% carbon saving, as well as being lighter and easier to manoeuvre for a similar performance.
