High strength but low weight at narrow spans

The newest addition to our d² Dura Grating range is our rectangular mesh product which meets the needs of narrow trench spans with maximum efficiency. Available in a thickness of 50mm or in a covered variant of 53mm, the rectangular mesh achieves Class B125 in accordance with EN 124, with a maximum clear span of 630mm. This means it’s capable of withstanding a 125kN (12.5 tonnes) test load, making it suitable for use in pedestrian areas or where occasional vehicular access is likely, ensuring structural integrity and safety. The increased open area versus our square mesh allows for additional light penetration and drainage, making it inherently suitable for trench and trough cover applications in the energy and utilities sector.

Tapered edges for instant trough compatibility

The edges of d² Dura Grating Rectangular Mesh are already pre-tapered for instant compatibility with Ibstock’s precast reinforced concrete 600 x 600 Utility Troughs – so you can install and remove with ease. Our partnership with Ibstock means you can easily access the best in pre-cast concrete troughs and GRP composite trench covers from a single supply chain source partner to provide housing and protection for power and communications cables and gas, water and chemical pipework. If your trench cover requirements differ from the above, the rectangular mesh covers can be easily trimmed down to suit.

Delivery

Standard lead time on orders from our Webshop is 3 – 5 working days (Mainland UK; stock dependent).

Large orders may be subject to palletised deliveries which are to the property kerbside only. Your order will need to be unloaded by hand (hand-balled) off the lorry side. A person must be present to help unload the goods and sign for receipt. Delivery drivers are not insured to help unload the goods beyond the property kerbside.

For our Dura Deck Tile products we offer free delivery to the majority of mainland UK. Unfortunately, Dura Composites is unable to offer free delivery to certain areas – including Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands & Offshore Islands, Isle Of Wight, Isle of Man, the Channel Islands and the Isles of Scilly.

Returns

If you wish to return or exchange your goods, please complete the form dispatched with your order and return within 14 days to the address below. Items must be unused and in perfect, resale condition and in their original packaging, and the Returns Form must be included. Once the goods have been received and inspected to check they meet the requirements outlined above you will receive a refund (credited back to the method you paid with) or a new shipping notification for your requested exchange within 7 working days of receipt.

The replacement item(s) will be shipped to you free of charge (once per customer). Please note we cannot exchange items of differing value. If you choose to return any items that were purchased as part of a promotion, and by returning part of your order your remaining total means you are no longer eligible for the original discount, the value of that discount will be deducted from any refunds due.

Please note the customer is responsible for the postage to return the item to us. We recommend using a Signed For recorded postal service as Dura Composites Ltd are not liable for any items that go missing en-route back to us. Thank you for your cooperation.
