We are experts in the design, manufacture and supply of heavy-duty structural GRP flooring panels for cable troughs, trench covers and high-footfall walkways. Our Glass Reinforced Polymer (GRP) Dura Slab panels offer a low-maintenance, durable and simple-to-install composite alternative to heavy & cumbersome concrete flooring or short-life Plywood. With an innovative design that can include either manual lifting eyes or mechanical lifting arms, Dura Slab has an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. When used as seating or concourse flooring, its lightweight nature means routine inspections of the substructure can be made easily.
We offer two connection types; a tongue and groove connection ideal for narrower spans or pedestrian loading, or a heavier duty half lap joint solution designed to accommodate vehicular loads and wide spans.
Applications for pultruded Dura Slab include trench covers, gully covers, industrial flooring, work platforms, tank covers, drawpit covers, commercial decking, landings, bridge decking and mezzanine flooring. Dura Slab is produced using Orthophthalic resin as standard, but is available in Isophthalic resin by special order only.
3D Model: Dura Slab Easy Lift Type 100
Dura Slab is part of our d² range of enhanced performance products.
Our d² Dura Slab products ensure safety with a Class B fire rating and durable gritted surfaces, maintaining up to 97.5% anti-slip performance after 1 million footfalls. Secure fixings (including lifting eyes and recessed collars) ensure any services or substructure below can’t be tampered with.
Our GRP d² Dura Slab products are unique to Dura Composites and are known for their exceptional strength properties. Half-lap joints or interlocking T&G profiles make them ideal for load-bearing flooring or trench covers. Our engineering data helps you choose the most cost-efficient product for your specific load and deflection needs.
d² Dura Slab designs use less raw material without compromising strength or performance, resulting in major carbon savings versus other heavy duty flooring products. We’re also the only company able to provide the option to repurpose your product at the end of its use, making us the greenest choice.
We freely share our material science insights online so you can make factual comparisons of d² Dura Slab products versus other GRP flooring and conveniently see how our products perform – based on fact not guesswork. Ongoing maintenance of Dura Slab isn’t required and our successful installations have proven themselves over decades of use.
Find out how our market-leading composite products and applications are reshaping the industry.
