GRP profile that’s up to 50% stronger than the competition – lower your material costs without compromising strength
Our Glass Reinforced Polymer (GRP) profile offering, d² Dura Profile, is a collection of heavy duty, corrosion resistant fibreglass profiles suitable for a wide range of applications. GRP’s ability to guard against deterioration from industrial chemicals and environmental factors make it a logical and cost-effective alternative to carbon, steel, aluminium, wood or other traditional materials.
However, not all composites are created equal. There are multiple factors that influence performance, from fibre orientation to manufacturing precision and environmental conditions. So we set about pushing the boundaries of what GRP pultruded profiles can achieve.
Through years of rigorous testing and development, we’ve refined our processes to achieve superior manufacturing standards and intelligent design optimisation, setting us apart from the competition.
The result?
- Up to 50% stronger than other GRP profiles
- Up to 50% lower embodied carbon
- Fully recyclable at end of life
Designers and engineers can achieve more with less – using smaller or fewer components without sacrificing performance.
The impact?
- Greater design flexibility
- Lighter profiles that are easier to handle and install
- Lower material costs without compromising strength
- Best-in-class sustainability
GRP profile that provides engineers with a high degree of design freedom.
We carry a large stock holding of GRP profile, including standard Angle, Channel, Box and Tube sections, all of which are designed to meet or exceed the higher performance E23 grade requirement of the BS EN 13706 standard (which covers the specification of GRP pultruded profiles).
If you’re looking for safety handrailing, we can provide two GRP Profile solutions – Fabrication Handrailing and Key Clamp Modular Handrailing. By seamlessly integrating either solution with our d² Dura Grating and Dura Profile components, a secure and durable working platform is ensured.
Our d² composites are backed by data from over a million testing operations. Through rigorous in-house testing and advanced data modelling, we meticulously analyse the properties of all of our composites. When it comes to GRP Profiles, our products are evaluated against BS EN 13706 – the specification for Pultrusions.
