Structural Grating Stair Treads
Dura Grating GRP Stair Treads
Dura Grating Stair Treads are manufactured using fibreglass grating which has an extremely high strength to weight ratio.
Dura grating structural stair treads have been designed for new projects and replacement staircase construction to provide a solid permanent footing. The proven anti-slip surface has one of the highest degrees of slip resistance ever measured for a walking surface especially in wet, oily and frosty conditions. The standard nosing colour is a highly visible yellow.
Fibreglass grating open mesh stair treads are supplied in a standard 38 mm thickness complete with a highly visible yellow nosing which offers higher safety standards in low lighting areas. Other thicknesses are available for wider spans.
A full range of stainless steel fixings are available allowing the treads to be securely fixed for long-term safe operating conditions.
If you are looking for an anti-slip stair tread solution made from high performance fibreglass which allows for drainage then you may want to consider our Dura Grating Stair Treads. Available with stainless steel fixings, the integral gritted top non-slip surface provides long lasting worker protection and are produced from a grating mesh which allows oils and other liquid to pass through. Dura Grating stair treads are generally 38mm thickness complete with a high visibility yellow nosing, offering higher safety standards in low lighting areas and can be cut to specific sizes to suit your installation requirements.

British standard slip resistance test results
The B.S. 4592 test was devised to test and assess the slip resistance of industrial type flooring intended for use in water and wet areas. A co-efficient of friction (CoF) is calculated by determining the mean angle of inclination that an operator can safely maintain when the flooring is subjected to a continuous stream of water.
Dura Composites achieves outstanding slip resistance results versus alternative materials such as metal grating or chequer plate.
