Salesforce Administrator and Trainer

As the primary liaison for user support, you’ll handle enquiries, troubleshoot issues, and offer guidance on the Salesforce system. Your role extends to developing and delivering training sessions for both new and existing users, ensuring comprehensive understanding and optimal utilisation of the platform. Additionally, you’ll oversee system maintenance, conduct updates, monitor KPIs, and propose innovative ideas for system enhancement.

Key Duties: User Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for user support, addressing enquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing guidance on Salesforce usage.
  • Cultivate strong interpersonal connections with both internal and external suppliers, fostering enhanced professional and collaborative relationships.
  • Ensure prompt and thorough fulfilment of all reasonable customer needs to minimise downtime and enable seamless execution of their roles.
  • Manage user roles, permissions, profiles, and licenses to ensure appropriate access levels and security settings.

 

Key Duties: Training

  • Develop and conduct comprehensive training sessions for new users to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to existing users, including customised training sessions based on their roles and needs.
  • Create and maintain training materials such as user guides, best practices, FAQs, and video tutorials to facilitate self-paced learning.
  • Conduct weekly refresher training sessions periodically to reinforce key concepts and address any gaps in understanding among users.
  • Identify and train super users or department champions to serve as internal Salesforce ambassadors and trainers, empowering the super users to provide ongoing support and training in their departments.

 

Key Duties: Salesforce Administration

  • Customise Salesforce to meet specific business needs and requirements, including configuring objects, fields, and page layouts.
  • Regularly review and maintain data integrity through data cleansing and regular audits.
  • Import, export, and update data, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Implement data security measures and compliance with regulatory requirements such as GDPR.
  • Manage approval processes and workflow rules to automate repetitive tasks and ensure consistency in operations.
  • Integrate Salesforce with third-party applications and systems to facilitate seamless data flow and enhance functionality.
  • Perform regular system maintenance tasks such as upgrades, patches, and releases to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Monitor system performance metrics and proactively troubleshoot issues to minimise downtime and disruptions.

 

Key Duties: Innovation and Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for system optimisation and enhancement through regular evaluation and collaborating with stakeholders to gather user feedback and requirements for future enhancements and updates.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce updates, new features, and best practices to continuously improve system effectiveness and user experience.
  • Create presentations and run workshops to educate stakeholders and gather feedback for project upgrades and enhancements.
  • Design and implement automation processes using workflows, process builder, and flow to streamline business processes and improve efficiency.
  • Create and maintain custom reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators and provide insights for decision-making.

 

The knowledge, skills and experience we’re ideally looking for:

  • Salesforce Administrator certification preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and training skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data integrity and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Experience of CRM systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
