Business Admin Assistant
As Business Admin Assistant you will be responsible for delivering first-class service for all agreed assigned tasks and activities using our department strategy, vision, and mission. Champion and follow our ‘One Best Way’ & ‘Customer WOW’ for all processes, procedures, and protocols to ensure all internal and external customers and stakeholders are blown away with our level of service first time, every time.
Responsibilities of the Role
- Ensure quotations and orders are accurate with supportive information.
- Assist with sales enquiries via the company website and assign to appropriate team.
- Process card payments for Proforma accounts using Sage Pay system.
- Assist with maintaining/reporting department KPIs.
- Produce and maintain product price lists for all sectors.
- Complete internal and external forms/questionnaires as required, such as returns or credit account applications.
- Assist in the maintenance of any existing accreditations, as well as completing supplier portals.
- Maintain data held in the client relationship management system, add new people and businesses as per customer requests, remove incorrect data.
- General admin duties to support Sales Admin Manager and cover for time offs.
- General admin duties to support internal departments.
- General reception duties; taking phone calls, greeting visitors, send/receive post and parcels.
- Reporting and analysis of data, including producing graphs/charts to visually display results & for company dashboards.
- Review, maintain and update trackers to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Deliver refresher training/demos to sales teams to drive ‘One Best Way’ order processing.
The knowledge, skills and experience we are ideally looking for:
- Good judgement and highly organised.
- Ability to prioritise, schedule daily workload.
- Working knowledge of CRM Systems, Salesforce experience desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Great Work Ethic, Proactive and positive approach to all tasks.
- Hands on determination and persistence to get the job done.
- Excellent Communicator, both written and verbal, and active listening skills.
- Strong Customer Service skills.
- Confident & personable.
Holiday entitlement:
- 20 days per year, plus 8 Bank Holidays
- Additional loyalty holiday days accrued from Year 2
- Option to purchase 5 additional holiday days per year

Bonus Scheme
Potential to earn 10% of Basic salary, following one year’s service as part of the companywide Net Profit Gain Share Bonus System (NPGSBS).
