Our adjustable patented (GB2581388) riser support system works seamlessly with our patented (GB2584067) d² Dura Grating to provide absolute fall protection to service risers, covering all stages and methods of construction.

Our bespoke first-class safety, riser solutions on new builds or refurbishments together with our highly experienced team offer a tried and tested one-stop-shop for Riser safety – including design, material supply & install. Using the d2 Dura Riser system, services can be cut in situ without the need for costly removal of cover plates or adjustment to the supports.

As well as offering the most comprehensive patented product range on the market, we pledge to do the necessary preparation to ensure that your riser project price avoids unwanted and unplanned extra costs for variations and hindrances thanks largely to our experienced and effective Site Supervisors, supported by our own PAYE staff for assured project delivery and continuity.

Our Dura Riser solutions can eliminate the need for scaffold handrails, netting or timber shuttering and can be ‘Post-fixed’ or ‘Cast-in’ to concrete as a fully structural solution. From our d2 product range we offer Glass Reinforced Polymer (GRP) grating that’s Class B fire-rated, 20mm Ball Fall Test compliant, proven Live Load tested and up to 33% lighter than anything else on the market, but is still proven to provide the required strength and deflection for riser void applications.

Unlike competitor solutions, there is no need to cut service holes ahead of time or to crane heavy framework into position, and the system is infinitely adjustable to allow for millimetre by millimetre changes. All components of the Dura Riser solution are also suited to manual handling and can be easily adapted for use with unusual substrates.

Our Dura Riser Supply & Install Services

1 | Material Supply with Cutting Plan

The lightweight Dura Riser steel framework and GRP Dura Grating panels are so easy to work with and offer the perfect combination of strength, safety and adaptability on site.

The Dura system can allow for millimetre by millimetre changes and unlike competitor systems, there is no need to cut service holes ahead of time, or to crane heavy steelwork into position.

Alongside our supply only service we can also offer a quality assurance service for customers who are self-installing the risers. Our operatives can attend site to ensure installations meet safety sign off criteria.

2 | Design, Material Supply & Cutting

d2 Dura Grating can be supplied in full stock panels or pre-cut to size by our specialist cutting team. If you need design support, the Dura Riser design package includes layout drawings with secondary supports, and the option of FEA simulations and service cut out reports, covered under Dura Composites Public Liability Insurance.

We also have full design capability, offering PI insurance for bespoke designs. We use specialist software to plan and optimise pallet loading, and can label each load with a clear manifest and numbered panels indicating the intended floor level the goods are intended for. This saves valuable time on the project and negates the need to continually move items around the site to find the floor you need.

3 | Project Management, Design, Supply & Turnkey Installation

Our Riser Installation team are fully equipped and trained to install our bespoke riser safety solutions on high-rise new builds, refurbishments and other construction projects.

Our project management services will ensure that your M&E requirements are factored in at the specification stage to save you time and money.

Our GRP installation operatives are IPAF and PASMA qualified and our Sites Manager has also successfully completed the Construction Related Supervisory Technical NVQ Level 3 and holds the CSCS Gold Card.

Using a Dura Box as part of your Riser strategy

Our Dura Box cast in module is a galvanised steel permanent shutter for reinforced concrete slab, designed specifically for use in the riser floor building construction for complete piece of mind. Part of the Dura Riser system, the Dura Box provides an opening in concrete floor built to the correct bespoke length, width and height of each void and slab.

The Dura Riser Box can be delivered flat-packed for assembly on-site, or completely pre-built for lifting into place with maximum speed and minimum risk.

Opting for pre-built units can help on projects with shorter construction schedules where safety, quality, time and cost parameters still need to be met.

Our Dura Riser perimeter is fixed to the inside of the Dura Box for the Dura Grating to sit on, or the Dura Box sides can be made with a flange at the top for the Dura Grating to rebate into the slab.

Once the temporary floor is removed post-pour, the Dura Box is held in place with 100mm bolts that key into the concrete.

Our Dura Riser boxes are the perfect hassle-free solution that offers speed without compromising on safety.
