Choose Dura Deck for a low maintenance composite balcony decking alternative to timber. Ideal for balconies under 11 metres in height.

Adding composite decking is a great way to increase the usability of your outside space, but using traditional timber or hardwoods can prove expensive and time consuming for small areas such as patios, balconies or courtyard gardens due to the extensive annual maintenance required.

Dura Deck balcony decking is ideal for both commercial and residential projects where your balcony is under 11 metres, whether this is the first time you’ve installed decking or you’re replacing degraded timber boards with a low maintenance composite decking solution.

If your project is on balcony decking which is over 11 metres you need our A2 Fire Rated Decking.

Dura Deck Balcony decking has a unique formula making it long-lasting and UV stable, even in the harshest of climates.

Extremely warm or cold outdoor temperatures play a significant role in the installation and performance of all decking projects, but Dura Deck’s unique installation methods help you to manage and reduce the effects of thermal expansion and contraction, making it ideal for domestic properties or apartment complexes in sun-soaked locations.

It also has a low water absorption rate, meaning that any rainwater on the surface of the decking evaporates quickly, protecting it from becoming waterlogged.

Dura Deck balcony decking is anti-slip and barefoot friendly

The properties of our composites make them a far more resilient and versatile choice than timber balcony decking boards. WPC balcony decking is easy to install with the usual woodworking tools – there are no specialist procedures to consider. Our Dura Deck products are available with our proprietary concealed fixings for a barefoot friendly surface free from exposed nails or screws.

Safety is at the forefront of our design process, and that’s why we’ve also manufactured our balcony decking to have excellent slip-resistance. Thanks to the qualities of our engineered composites, our boards do not become waterlogged. Together with the mould inhibitors we use, this discourages the growth of algae, mould and mildew, which can make decking slippery and unsightly. With the attractive appearance of wood and the enhancements of engineered composites, Dura Deck is the perfect addition to your home. When used on a balcony, our Dura Deck boards are suitable for use with our aluminium bearers, which can also be used with our adjustable pedestals for easy height correction. Please ensure you choose the most compatible system for your threshold clearance.

If you have a narrow gap between your door threshold and balcony, you may want to consider using our composite timber Dura Deck Tiles which can be laid directly onto any hard and level surface and are lightweight and easy to install.

The eco-friendly choice
Our balcony decking is made from up to 87% recycled hardwood and plastics, reflecting our commitment to reduce the amount of waste that is sent to landfill. We are proud to use 100% FSC certified timber – an industry first for a timber composite. This demonstrates that all of the wood we source for our products originates from well-managed forests. We are keen to help preserve our natural resources for future generations and by choosing us, you can be sure that you are buying an environmentally-friendly product.

Available in a variety of colours and finishes
Our composite decking boards are available in a variety of colours, as well as finishes, to complement their natural appearance. From slate grey and charcoal to more earthy tones like oak and teak, there is an option to suit every application. Whether for commercial or domestic use, our boards come free from visible fixings, enhancing the appearance even further.
