In this project at Ilford Mosque, we supplied GRP flooring and pedestals to ensure safe and efficient drainage for the facilities that are used for the provision of washing hands, face and feet during the ablutions before Islamic prayer.
Client Ismailjee Building Services selected Dura Composites Mini Mesh GRP grating with its small open mesh area for this project at Ilford Islamic Centre.
The smaller openings of our Mini Mesh Dura Grating prevents small objects from falling through, and complies with BS EN14122 Category B and the European 20mm ball falling test requirement.
The close spacing of the bearing bars and non-corrosive properties of Mini Mesh Dura Grating means that it is an ideal strong, durable and low maintenance solution for washroom flooring applications where good drainage is paramount to minimise splashback.
Dura Grating Mini Mesh is available in Grey, Green, Sand, Yellow and Teak colours in thicknesses of 23mm, 30mm, 35mm, 45mm and 55mm and can be supplied with a range of stainless steel clips, clamps and hold down fixings to suit all install scenarios. Other mesh sizes and thicknesses are also readily available from stock.
