Dura Composites Awarded Prestigious FORS Gold Accreditation

Highest Standard of Fleet Safety and Environmental Excellence Achieved

We are delighted to share that Dura Composites has been awarded the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) Gold accreditation – the top tier in this nationally recognised programme that promotes best practice for commercial vehicle operators.

Having previously achieved both Bronze and Silver levels, reaching FORS Gold demonstrates our ongoing commitment to going above and beyond industry standards in areas such as road safety, fuel efficiency, driver training, and environmental protection.

As part of this achievement, we have invested significantly in vehicle safety technology, including blind-spot minimisation devices, audible warning systems and telematics. These measures help ensure our operations not only meet legal requirements, but far exceed them – especially when it comes to safeguarding vulnerable road users.

We are also thrilled to announce that Adam Lamb, our Logistics Manager, has been recognised as a certified FORS Practitioner. This rigorous programme involved completing specialist training modules designed to support safe, sustainable and efficient fleet management. Adam’s commitment and the support from his team has played a key role in driving our standards forward.

Achieving FORS Gold is a real milestone for us. It reflects the collective efforts of our team and our belief that safe, well-managed logistics are integral to our service and sustainability goals. We’ll continue to raise the bar wherever we can.

The FORS scheme, which began in London and has since expanded nationwide, supports organisations in embedding progressive improvements across fleet operations. Its Gold standard is reserved for operators who demonstrate not only sustained compliance with Bronze and Silver requirements but also clear leadership in performance management, training and innovation.
