Project: Security Fencing, Croydon
Client: Crime and Fire Defence Systems
Crime and Fire deliver state-of-the-art security solutions to the highest and safety standards to clients all over the world. Protecting us from potential terrorist threats, they play a vital role in safeguarding our nation.
Working in some major markets like power and gas distribution, Crime and Fire protect critical infrastructure.
Which is why given our deep history working in the energy and nuclear sectors, we were able to support them on this project of critical importance.
The customer came to Crime and Fire with a desperate need for protection near their key pipeline. Their previous chain link fencing was inadequate and falling apart.
Dura Composites are able to provide secure, modular and easy to install non-conductive security fencing that is designed by our in-house CAD and FEA experts to meet the stringent requirements of these kinds of critical facilities.
Which is why Crime and Fire came to us, because they knew our clever Dura Grating with its non-conductive properties would reduce the risk potential between the pipework and any other metals.
Easy to assemble and take apart, our clever Dura Profile and Grating allows for the pipeline to be maintained at all times without the need for a mechanical aid.
The d2 Mini Mesh, combined with wide-flange beam, angle and solid plate Profile allowed for a strong, secure fence to be installed.
Speaking about the project, Pete Burney, Project Manager at Crime and Fire Defence Systems commented:
Working in partnership with Dura has been a really positive experience. Together we have been able to support this very happy client with a clever solution that solved all their security problems and safeguarded their assets.
Moving forward as we collaborate on future projects, the UK can breathe easier knowing that their key pipelines will be protected with safe and secure solutions.
