Rebrand signals defining moment as Dura closes the lifecycle loop on composite walkways through a world-first repurposing innovation.

Dura Composites, a world-leading UK manufacturer of GRP walkway systems, has unveiled a new brand identity after closing the loop on composite walkways through an in house repurposing process.

For three decades, Dura has established a global reputation for engineering high-performance composite walkway systems for rail, power and other national infrastructure and industrial environments.

Today, the business is entering a new phase – one defined by avoiding landfill through the reuse of manufacturing waste and end-of-life materials, while delivering the lowest-carbon walkway designs available.

The rebrand comes at a time when infrastructure owners are under increasing pressure to demonstrate lower embodied carbon as part of Scope 3 emissions reporting and long-term material stewardship.

At the centre of this evolution is Dura’s growing capability in circular infrastructure. Through its investment in ground-breaking closed-loop GRP repurposing, the company is challenging long-standing assumptions that composite infrastructure must end its life as waste.

Instead, world-leading innovations at the firm’s headquarters in Essex are ensuring materials can now be recovered, processed into feedstock and reintroduced directly into Dura’s manufacturing process to make new products. Dura is creating a continuous lifecycle for materials that reduces landfill, lowers carbon and strengthens long-term resource efficiency.

This circular approach underpins Dura’s mission to consistently manufacture the lowest carbon walkway systems. By combining intelligent design, extended product lifecycles and repurposed materials, the company provides a common sense alternative to virgin resources while delivering infrastructure solutions that remain fit for purpose over the long term.

The new visual identity seen in the new branding reflects this progression and signals technical authority, precision and circular momentum, aligning with Dura’s position as a business focused on solving complex infrastructure challenges through innovation and engineering expertise.

This rebrand marks a significant moment for Dura as we can now take responsibility for our products beyond their working life. Over the past 30 years, we’ve built a strong foundation in delivering high-performance composite solutions. What we’re now doing is applying that experience to one of the biggest challenges facing infrastructure – reducing carbon while maintaining performance.

Our focus is clear: to manufacture the lowest carbon walkway systems in the world to best preserve our planet and to lead the development of circular solutions that fundamentally change how materials are used. Through intelligently carbon engineered design and our closed-loop GRP repurposing, we’re proving that it’s possible to reduce waste, lower carbon and deliver long-life infrastructure – without compromise on performance.

Dura’s new visual identity reflects that ambition. It’s about demonstrating where we’re heading as a business and the role we play in shaping the future of infrastructure.
