Galvanised Steel Metal Grating over time may rust, corrode and deform. Fibreglass Grating is anti-slip, lightweight, maintenance free, and can replace Galvanised Steel Metal Grating.
Galvanised Steel Metal Grating has been available for decades, and has been successful for a number of applications. However, over the past few years, we have witnessed problems where galvanised steel metal gratings have failed due to corrosive elements, or where galvanising has been subject to damage. Galvanised Steel Metal Grating is also subject to deformation due to over lading, rendering the material dangerous, and a trip hazard. Dura Tread Fibreglass Grating weighs one third of Galvanised Steel Metal Grating, is easier to lay, and does not require heavy lifting equipment for installing or removal for routine servicing.
