Our clever patented ranges can meet the needs of all project specifications and give developers and contractors the ultimate peace of mind for new and replacement balcony decking. Due to its lightweight design and hard-wearing composition, Dura Deck Aluminium is perfect for a range of applications. Specifically, its outstanding fire resistance and compliance with EU and UK government recommendations mean that it’s great for terraces and balconies on buildings over 11 metres in height. Even if fire safety is not a consideration, they offer a sleek, contemporary finish to any project.

Choose from A2 fire-rated aluminium decking with an in-built drainage channel built into the profile to enable positive drainage (Dura Deck Aluminium Positive-Drain), or a free draining system suitable for terraces or balconies less than 6sqm (Dura Deck Aluminium Free-Drain).

Our aluminium decking is built to last and designed with sustainability in mind, fully recyclable at the end of its lifespan to promote a circular economy. Through advanced engineering, we reduce material usage by up to 25%, helping lower the carbon footprint without sacrificing performance.

Dura Deck Aluminium is part of our d² range of enhanced performance products.

    Safer.

    Minimal deflection, maximum stability

Safety is ingrained in our products’ design. Leveraging our expertise in heavy-duty structural flooring for industry, we design our d² balcony decking around just 0.5% deflection or L/200 for a higher safety factor.

    Stronger.

    Unique span enhances safety

Even with our greater safety factor, our products outspan competitors’ aluminium decking by up to 75%, reaching spans of up to 1050mm compared to their typical 600mm spans.

    Greener.

    Delivering sustainable change

We reduce carbon footprint while maintaining peak performance. Our advanced engineering enables intricate designs using up to 25% less material, complete with a colour-matched underside that means you don’t need to order additional products to complete your project, helping you meet your sustainability goals.

    Proven.

All the data you need, instantly

The tests you really need for maximum peace of mind. Tested in exactly the way you plan to use it, in every colour – from profile to paint. All supported by our unique rapid-install two-part substructure of fire-rated aluminium bearers and pedestals, allowing as little as a 6 minute install for an 8.7sqm balcony.

    The Dura Deck® Aluminium Collection

Available in three beautiful matt-finish colours, our Dura Deck Aluminium products (Patent No. GB 2584725) feature a double-skin, anti-slip surface with a seamless soffit finish. Independently tested by a UKAS-accredited body, these A2 fire-rated planks deliver outstanding performance and compliance.

    Dura Deck Aluminium Free-Drain 18mm

    Free-Drain 18mm in Mist

    Dura Deck Aluminium Free-Drain 18mm

This A2 fire-rated decking solution allows water to freely drain through the gaps between the planks onto the area below. It is ideal for replacing degraded or non-compliant timber on balconies, low-level terraces and walkways or new build balconies less than 6m² that do not require water management (Patent No. GB 2584725).

Spanning up to 850mm between centres based on a 2kN point load, the decking boards feature a unique design which is particularly suited for use with ‘slide-on’ cassette balconies, minimising the need for on-site finishing.

The lightweight nature of the planks make them ideal for projects where access restrictions make remedial work tricky using traditional materials. The V-Groove surface is cool in hot weather and has low slip potential in all directions.

    Dura Deck Aluminium Positive-Drain 27mm

Perfect for balcony projects with in-built drainage trays where non-compliant timber is being replaced and large spans are required. Its innovative positive drainage design (Patent No. GB 2584725) efficiently directs rainwater to drainage points, meeting the NHBC balcony drainage standard.

Spanning up to 1400mm between centres on a 2kN point load, the A2 fire-rated reeded decking planks feature a 27mm profile which means fewer structural supports are required for the balcony or terrace build-up, saving time and money.

The innovative tongue-and-groove interlocking design ensures a seamless finish with a hidden fixing channel, concealing screws for a clean, professional look and hassle-free installation. The reeded surface enhances grip while delivering a classic timber deck aesthetic.
