To find out how much cladding you’ll need to buy for your project, first decide on the orientation you want your cladding planks to run in – either vertically or horizontally, as this will affect your final quantities and will dictate whether you’ll need to purchase additional expansion trims to join planks side by side.
Once you’ve decided where you want your cladding situated, measure the length and width of the total area. Your best bet is to produce a bill of quantities based on a computer aided design (CAD) layout, taking into account the plank lengths of 3660m.
