GRP Dura Fencing is Highly Suited to Electrified Rail Environments
Made from strong but lightweight Fibre Reinforced Plastic (FRP), it can be used for a wide range of rail applications such as boundary fencing, end of platform gates, trackside fencing, traincare depot perimeters and screening of electrical works.
With metal theft one of the fastest growing crimes in the UK, our strong but lightweight composite fencing also has excellent anti-theft properties as unlike metal it has no intrinsic scrap value. With a visually appealing mesh construction, it can be cut to size on-site without the need for hot works permits and without the need for track isolation. Dura Platform Fencing has a guaranteed long-service life and provides a safe, non-conductive, maintenance free and cost effective alternative to metal or wooden structures.
Fully Fabricated End-of-Platform Steps
Our end-of-platform steps are made from high strength, GRP pultruded sections and are a lightweight structural solution which can be installed rapidly by Network Rail and civil engineering contractors to keep the rail network operating smoothly. As well as fully fabricated non-corrosive and non-conductive single unit GRP steps we can also supply our modular GRP stairs in component or kit form ready for speedy installation.
