Micro Mesh anti-slip floor grating meets health and safety requirements for all applications. Micro Mesh grating is used in all types of industry where corrosion resistance and long lifespans are paramount. Various mesh sizes, thicknesses and colour options makes Micro Mesh grating the obvious choice over steel, metal and other conventional flooring systems. Micro Mesh grating is light, strong and can be supplied with a full range of stainless steel clips, clamps and various hold down fixings to suit all situations.

The angular quartz grit embedded into the top of the walking surface of drainage grating provides one of the highest degrees of slip resistance ever measured, especially in wet, oily and icy conditions.

Drainage grating

Drainage grating for workstations, platforms, walkways and wash bays. All stainless steel hold down fixings available from stock. Drainage grating is generally used to replace other mesh products due to its anti-slip qualities.

Walkways grating

Walkways grating offers the highest degree of slip resistance measured for a walking surface. Walkways grating can be specified for new or replacement projects where safe anti-slip qualities are required when the walking surface is exposed in marina applications and walkways over water. Walkways grating is constructed from fibreglass and is an ideal and cost-effective alternative to traditional grating materials like wood, mild steel and stainless steel.

Catwalk grating

Micro mesh has super strength, is anti-slip and is ideal for replacing catwalk grating. Metal catwalk grating rusts over time, becomes corroded and can deform, resulting in an unsafe walking area. Fibreglass catwalk grating is highly anti-slip, easily installed due to its light weight, is very low maintenance and often replaces corroded steel grating.

British standard slip resistance test results

The B.S. 4592 test was devised to test and assess the slip resistance of industrial type flooring intended for use in water and wet areas. A co-efficient of friction (CoF) is calculated by determining the mean angle of inclination that an operator can safely maintain when the flooring is subjected to a continuous stream of water.
