GRP Decking for Marinas and Pontoons

If you are building or refurbishing pontoons or flexible floating systems and are looking for an alternative to traditional hardwood decking, then fibreglass Dura Grating offers heavy duty capabilities, great strength and promotes safety for users.

Dura Grating is an extremely durable marina decking material with a longer life span than wood and which has been designed to withstand the rigours of marine environments. It will transform existing slippery wooden decking into an exceptionally safe walking surface, vastly improving marina safety standards for both berth holders and employees.

Made from Glass Reinforced Polymer sometimes known as GRP or FRP, Dura Composites’ GRP pontoon decking can be specified for new or replacement projects where safe anti slip qualities are required for walking surfaces in exposed areas over water.

The load capacity is extremely high, providing excellent impact resistance and exceptional traction on walkways subject to tidal inclines. Manufactured using advanced fibreglass composite technology and featuring one of the highest degrees of slip resistance ever measured for a walking surface, it is available in standard mesh, mini mesh, micro mesh and solid top (or covered grating), enabling you to find the perfect grating for your requirements.
