An ideal lightweight and non-conductive alternative to heavy steel, the supporting framework utilises our strong 203mm Dura Profile GRP channel, versus the commonly used weaker 150mm channel used by others in the industry.
Uniquely in the market, all our Dura Profile components meet the E23 grade performance requirement of the BS EN 13706 standard (which covers the specification of GRP pultruded profiles) and provides superior strength and consistent quality.
The decking or flooring material for the mezzanines can be selected from our open mesh or solid top moulded GRP grating range, or from our pultruded GRP Dura Slab range if preferred. We have a full range of anti-slip and low maintenance flooring which can be easily specified during the design phase, depending on your application and the loading required.
For environments where personnel or equipment may be located beneath the mezzanine for example, the hole sizes in our 45mm mini mesh grating meets the requirements of the 20mm European Ball Falling Test and limits the risk of tools and equipment dropping through larger 32mm holes that could injure people or delay works.
Furthermore, the smaller holes provide a greater sense of security and reduce likelihood of vertigo and the grating is designed in compliance with BS 6399 to meet 2.5Kn loadings (at 0.5% / L200) deflection.
This is around 30% stronger than the standard 38mm grating often promoted by other manufacturers for mezzanine applications.
