If you’re looking for a beautiful, low maintenance decking option which is simple to install, why not consider Dura Tile? Our range of composite tiles are designed with the user in mind – all you need to do is place your corner and edge ramps and then clip on your Dura Tiles. They are suitable for any existing firm, flat, hardstanding surface, making them extremely versatile. You don’t need to worry about extensive preparation of the area to be decked and the interlocking square tiles require no screws, nails or bonds. Due to their speedy assembly even over large areas, they are ideal for small DIY garden decking projects or for difficult to reach roof terraces and balconies.

Step 1: Lay a row of tiles to check your measurements. Place your first tile onto the ground surface and push down second tile onto the first to activate the interlocking tabs.

Step 2: Choose a corner to start from. If your tiles adjoin a walled areas, it’s a good idea to start there. Place your first tile and push down each adjacent tile on the previously laid tile.

Step 3: Continue laying tiles, ensuring the interlocking tabs have been activated and the surface is flush and level. Use a jigsaw to cut tiles to fit around obstructions, leaving tabs intact on connecting sides.

Step 4: Add Corner Ramps as necessary by placing ramps and then lifting the adjacent Dura Tile and pushing down into your Corner Ramps to lock into place.

Step 5: Add Edge Ramps in the same way by placing in position and then
lifting the adjacent Dura Tile and pushing down into Edge Ramps.

Step 6: Brush down your Dura Tile area to remove any debris. Your new low-maintenance decking area is now ready to enjoy for many years to come!

Made from wood plastic composite, Dura Deck Tiles are long-lasting and resilient. The interlocking deck tiles are precision made modules which are securely attached to a plastic grid base using corrosion resistant screws. The base allows water to drain freely under the decking tiles and its open structure provides excellent air circulation, preventing mould, mildew and algae from growing in damp and dark locations.

The strength of our interlocking patio tiles originates from their inbuilt connecting tabs, which allows them to be simply and swiftly linked together (starting from the edge or corner ramps) to create a ‘floating’ surface.

Dura Tile has a long lifespan and unlike timber, will not rot, splinter or split. The maintenance required is minimal – a simple jet wash occasionally is all that’s needed. You will never need to treat, oil, or paint the tiles, but they can be lightly sanded to remove any stains that accumulate over time. In addition to domestic applications, composite tiles are in increasing demand from commercial operators due to their superior durability and ease of installation.

The beautiful traditional appearance of wood and long lifespan make our composite garden tiles the perfect choice for new installations or for the fast replacement of timber decking. Their advanced material composition meets today’s exacting requirements set by architects, designers and specifiers. If you require further information about how our composite tiles could be used for your project, please do not hesitate to contact our friendly team.

Featuring the interlocking system, each of our composite deck tiles can be attached to the next in seconds and will enhance and add value to your outdoor area. Decking tiles in the UK are ideal for public areas such as outside refreshment bars, walkways, verandas, balconies, conservatories, patios and pool decking. Commercial enterprises including holiday parks, leisure centres and theme parks can also benefit from the versatility and simplicity of Dura Tile.

Once they are fitted to the strong, heavy duty plastic interlocking frame, you can rely on the durability, resilience and steadfastness of your composite decking tiles for decades to come. The tiles can be laid in two directions to create a unique pattern and are available in two attractive colours (teak and charcoal) to suit all environments. They come in a standard size of 305mm long x 305mm wide x 23.5mm thick, and have corresponding corner edge and straight edge ramps to provide a smooth, safe, angled transition between the tile and the floor surface.

Our composite tiles are also an eco-friendly option. Manufactured using a mix of up to 87% recycled hardwood and plastics, Dura Tile helps to preserve the natural world by curbing the amount of waste sent to landfill.
