Project: Montrevault, Pays de la Loire, France
Client: Metalu
The former commune in the Maine-et-Loire department in Western France, is traversed by the Èvre river.
The river forms a large part of the identity of the small local community, and they approached our European partners Metalu with a need to create a safe footbridge that spanned the Èvre.
Connecting communities and providing safe access, Metalu with the help of Dura Grating Mini Mesh created a pedestrian walkway that will stand the test of time.
Choosing Dura Grating Mini Mesh in Sand, with its improved light transmittance, supported the needs of the diverse plant and river life below.
Whilst its 60-year design life, by using Dura Grating, the community of Montrevault had a new footbridge they could enjoy for years to come.
Commenting on the project, Dean Fuller, Marine & Leisure Sales Manager at Dura Composites said;
The river Èvre is the beating heart of this community and we were delighted to provide them with a durable, safe access footbridge with the support of our partners Metalu.
