Project: Access Bridge, Cotswolds
As featured on televisions prime home improvement program, this incredibly heart-warming project allowed safe access to the house from the garden for Ben who’d recently had a tragic accident whilst holidaying with his family abroad.
Whilst swimming in his hotel pool with his daughters, Ben had slipped and broken his neck in three places. After being transferred to the UK, he spent two and a half months in intensive care but was unable to move home due to access issues.
In stepped the incredible team at DIY SOS, revamping his house, into an accessible space that meant he could finally return home to his family. You can still see the episode online and the incredible work that they did in such a short space of time.
