A new position for a go-getting Senior Sales Advisor has become available at Dura Composites. If you are interested or know someone who might be interested in joining our knowledgeable and motivated Sales team, here are the details:

Senior Sales Advisor / Account Manager
The Company:

Dura Composites is a Clacton-on-Sea based supplier of high quality, industry leading, composite flooring and cladding products across several sectors including Industrial, Marine, Landscaping and Architectural sectors throughout the World with official distributors in the Middle East, Australasia and Europe and is experiencing rapid growth.

Outcome: To increase profitable sales of the company’s innovative and wide range of Industrial and Architectural composite products in the UK.


  • Self-driven, results-oriented with positive outlook and clear focus on high quality service and business profit
  • A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance and are credible, and comfortable dealing with senior executives and hands on operators
  • Reliability, tolerance and determination will also be part of your character, as is the requirement to be able to see things from the other person's point of view
  • You need to be well presented, business-like, and also keen for new experiences, responsibility and accountability coupled with the ability to get on with others

Specific Job Skills:

  • The ability to communicate well both spoken and written
  • The ability to understand the principles of sales - benefits-solutions-relationships
  • Appreciate the need for consistency within company's branding and service culture

Business and Selling Skills:

  • You must be able to demonstrate success and experience managing major accounts, large customers and significant contracts - tender applications experience useful too
  • An ideal background would be in industrial or building product sales
  • Experience of composite products, grating or walkway products or other forms of outdoor flooring would be particularly helpful
  • Ability to understand profit, loss and gross profit percentages and calculations
  • Must be a very competent communicator of quotations and proposals


  • Though internal staff management is not initially part of the job, responsibility and opportunity could grow with the development of the business and as such people-management skills, experience and natural ability will be useful

Computer skills:

  • Microsoft Office comfortable, Internet, App and Smart Phone Savvy
  • Some form of CRM system experience


  • The successful candidate will have the opportunity to earn an income in line with their achievements and the company attaining its goals via an attractive commission scheme
  • OTE £30k-£40k depending on experience (Basic £15k to £20k)

Other Job Information:

Location -      Head Office at Clacton on Sea. Must be within 30 mins drive of office

Reports to -   Key Account Manager

Hours -         Mon to Fri 9-5.30. 1 hr for lunch.
