Structural Engineer Opportunity To Spearhead Growth of Innovative Composite Building Products
Dura Composites is planning to create up to 20 jobs in the next three years, taking the workforce to 55 people. The latest role to be created in their three-year plan to increase turnover from £7m to £17m, is a structural design engineer.
The role will focus on the profitable growth of new products, and the design of custom projects using GRP (glass reinforced plastic) and WPC (wood plastic composite) technologies. The engineer would be responsible for converting project briefs into realistic products supported with finite element analysis, costed bills of materials, and rendered images and components using CAD technology.
Previous commercial experience and GRP design using finite element analysis is required. The role will also carry responsibility for helping manage the output of the existing CAD Estimators support team, and be based at Dura Composite’s Headquarters and factory site in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex. A generous salary and non-contributory pension are offered.
