Composite handrailing

Comfortable, safe & attractive balustrading

Dura Balustrade shown here in Teak.

Composite handrailings are a low maintenance alternative to timber

Dura Balustrading consists of a range of low maintenance composite timber balustrading products that provide a comfortable, safe and attractive low-level handrail for domestic and commercial applications. Although it has the appearance of traditional timber, the composite material will not warp, splinter or rot like natural wood and does not require painting or staining, making it a great choice for your low-level handrailing requirements.

Extremely strong and long-lasting, it will stand the test of time even when exposed to challenging environments. Thanks to its UV colour stable and mould resistant properties, Dura Balustrading doesn’t fade or deteriorate like wooden alternatives. All you need to do to keep it looking its best is to spray it with a hosepipe to remove any debris before washing it with a soft bristled brush. You can also pressure wash it as you see necessary.

Featuring a unique concealed fixing system, Dura Balustrading reflects the safe and aesthetically pleasing credentials of our complementary decking boards. With no exposed nails or screws to potentially cause an injury, and a smooth appearance, our handrailings make the perfect addition to your Dura Deck composite decking boards. The balustrading can be supplied pre-cut and pre-drilled in either Teak or Charcoal colours, allowing for rapid installation onto a range of substrates including concrete, wood and steel, even if you don’t have extensive woodworking experience.

With our composite handrailings, you can be sure that you are making an investment for the future. Dura Balustrading has a 10-year warranty and will add character to your outdoor space for years to come. Combining the beautiful natural look of timber with the durability of a plastic composite, Dura Balustrading provides the best of both worlds.
