UV stable & weather-resistant decking
Dura Deck composite boardwalk decking is long-lasting and low maintenance
Highly resilient and easy to keep in excellent condition, our composite boardwalk decking is a great choice for commercial projects. Dura Deck incorporates the qualities of wood and the properties of plastic to make a product which offers the best of both worlds. It is hard-wearing and requires minimal maintenance – saving you time and money. Our composite boardwalk decking boards are UV stable and resistant to the elements. Whether in the UK or abroad, you can rely on Dura Deck to look great and help you maximise the use of your outdoor space, whatever the weather.
Unlike traditional timber decking, our composite boardwalk decking will not rot, splinter, or warp. All that’s required to keep it at its best is general cleaning. Simply spray the surface with a hosepipe to clear any debris followed by washing it with a soft bristled brush. You may also wish to use a pressure washer to remove any stubborn stains. With our composites, you do not need to sacrifice appearance for resilience – our boards have a stunning natural wood finish.
Composite boardwalk decking boards are anti-slip and barefoot friendly
Boardwalks can often become slippery due to rainwater and the growth of mould, mildew and algae. Manufactured using high quality WPC wood plastic composite, Dura Deck has a low water absorption rate to prevent it becoming waterlogged and is treated with mould inhibitors for extra protection.
Dura Deck is also designed to be barefoot friendly. It has concealed fixings, with no trip hazards such as nails or screws above the surface. This is particularly important in commercial settings where there are responsibilities to protect the public and specific regulations to comply with.
Despite their high tech composition, our Dura Deck boards are easy to install using standard carpentry tools. Our products are manufactured using recycled hardwood and polyethylene resin to the highest standards of safety, quality, durability and appearance.
There are a number of colour choices available in our range of composite boardwalk decking boards, to suit every taste. These include Oak (for Type 150), Teak (for Types 146, 225 and 295), Ash (for Type 150) and Charcoal (for Types 146, 225 and 295).
The eco-friendly choice
At Dura Composites, we have made a commitment to provide environmentally-friendly solutions to meet our customers’ decking requirements. Our composites are manufactured using a mix of up to 87% recycled hardwood and plastics, helping to reduce the volume of waste which is deposited in landfill sites. We were also the first timber composite supplier in the world to become 100% FSC® certified, as the wood we use is always sourced from well-managed forests. By selecting our products, you can be sure that you are choosing an eco-friendly option.
Available in a variety of colours and finishes
Our composite decking boards are available in a variety of colours, as well as finishes, to complement their natural appearance. From slate grey and charcoal to more earthy tones like oak and teak, there is an option to suit every application. Whether for commercial or domestic use, our boards come free from visible fixings, enhancing the appearance even further.
Decking colour options
Our decking boards are available in six colours. To check colour availability for product types, please visit the product range page. Colour samples are available on request, or for large orders, bespoke colours can be selected.
Please note that colours shown are representative only; actual colours may vary slightly. Whilst Dura Deck is relatively colour stable, there will likely be some initial colour lightening as the product weathers, which typically occurs in the first 3 months.
Our manufacturing process results in a high level of colour consistency although some variation in colour may be apparent across boards from different production batches.
Dura Deck Type 225 is available in Charcoal and Teak colours. It is ideally suited to commercial applications such as public walkways and leisure complexes thanks to its heavy duty performance.
