Dura growth secured with distribution deal

By Stuart Burns June 13, 2012

Dura Composites has underlined its growing global sales network by signing a long-term distribution deal with its sister company Dura Composites Australasia (DCA) that will enable DCA to supply products across the whole Australasian region.

The long-term partnership was sealed when Tom Bowman (Commercial Director Dura UK) and Andy Greathead (CEO Dura Australasia) signed the exclusive distributorship agreement during a recent tour of some of our manufacturing plants in the Far East.

The agreement allows DCA to supply the full range of Dura Composites products to 21 countries in Australasia, including developed countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and Singapore, fast-growing regions such as Indonesia, South Korea and North Korea plus a host of developing nations such as Brunei, Vietnam and Philippines.

This announcement comes off the back of an awesome start to DCA’s rapid growth business plan since the alliance formed in early 2011.
It’s gone from a start-up business to one that has already secured listings of its innovative products within major building and hardware stockists such as M&B in Western Australia and Sunshine Mitre 10 in Queensland, with many more to come.

This impressive growth should come as no surprise as its founders and major shareholders Andy Greathead and Graham Hine are serial entrepreneurs who have a knack of spotting opportunities and then delivering world-class results. Watch this space for more developments.
