Dura Deck installed at Waveney River Centre
Our Dura Deck composite timber decking is adding value to projects all over the country – the latest example being Waveney River Centre – a multi-award-winning holiday park and marina on the Norfolk Broads.
James Knight, Managing Director, first became aware of Dura Deck at a Yacht Harbour Association event Dura Composites sponsored last June.
As someone with an interest in new technology, James was already aware of wood plastic composite products and had already trialled an alternative product at his award-winning holiday park in the beautiful Norfolk countryside.
However, on using our double-width Dura Deck 295 product James realised that the planks were much faster to install and due to their extra load capacity seemed much ‘sturdier’ under foot.
Operating with a philosophy of environmental preservation, he was also attracted to the fact that Dura Deck products are manufactured using more than 87% recycled content.
James’ success is no coincidence – he puts it down to lots of hard work, planning and attention to detail in creating an environment conducive to offering great holidays.
As a bonus, the fact that the Dura Deck planks require little maintenance means that he can now focus his attention on the next part of his project.
